STFA Holding

In 1938, with the idea of contributing to Turkey’s development, two young civil engineers, Sezai Türkeş and Feyzi Akkaya, established STFA. During its 80-years journey, the Holding has transformed into a group of companies committed to creating value for all stakeholders with investments in a diverse range of industries.

The Holding has undersigned many firsts in its core business of construction, such as becoming the first Turkish contracting firm to be awarded an overseas project in Libya followed by Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Iran, Tunisia, Pakistan and India.

With the wide product range of SİF Construction Equipment Company and its 13 sales points in eight cities and 35 authorized technical service centers throughout the country, STFA has carried out the sales and marketing of JCB -one of the world’s leading construction equipment manufacturers– in Turkey for over 40 years.

Besides industrial investments, the first international initiative of the world’s biggest free online educational platform Khan Academy, founded by the STFA Group, Khan Academy TR celebrates its 5th anniversary.

Operating under the roof of the STFA foundation, the “Foundation for Translation of Scientific and Technical Publications”, Khan Academy TR continues to grow as a movement of corporate social responsibility and volunteering , with the aim of providing equal opportunities for all in education.
