Indian Cancer Society Bangalore

The Indian Cancer Society was founded in 1951 by the renowned oncologist Dr DJ Jussawala and Mr. Naval Tata as India's first voluntary, non-profit, National Organization for Awareness, Detection, Cure and Survivorship of those affected with Cancer. In 1986, the Bengaluru office of Indian Cancer Society was started by Mr. Kishore Rao.

Indian Cancer Society, Bengaluru is working towards bringing down the cancer incidence and mortality rates in the region through increased awareness levels, early detection, and early intervention. It also provides emotional support to cancer patients and care givers.

Our Mission

What we do?

Indian Cancer Society (ICS) is a not-for-profit Community based Health Society dedicated to eliminating Cancer as a major health challenge. Its Bengaluru office is working towards bringing down the cancer incidence and mortality rates in the region through increased awareness levels, early detection, and early intervention. The extent of help required is phenomenal. The Society is entirely dependent on public support to carry out its activities which include:
