Overview
Center for Digital Security and Privacy (CDSP) is a non-profit initiative started by IIT alumnus to enable masses gain more control of their data.
With advent of tech, data is increasingly becoming a much sought after commodity for big-tech companies, and CDSP aims to prevent the misuse of consumer data through its multi-sectoral approach.
Our major initiatives include:
1. Workshops for masses to protect their personal data and preventing the misuse of sensitive data
2. Workshops for corporates to make their employee more vigilant about organizational data security
3. Policy advocacy for stronger data protection legislation
4. Developing proprietary and accessible technologies for data protection
5. Acting as an body to hold corporate and organizations accountable for their data management practices
