HKU Mentorship
Education Management in Hong Kong SAR China
Overview
The only university-wide Mentorship Programme at The University of Hong Kong, hosted by the HKU Development & Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO), offers a unique learning experience for undergraduates and incoming exchange students.
By way of a year-long relationship, young students are given the privileged opportunity to interact with and learn from distinguished members of the community. The cross-disciplinary matching allows mentees to look beyond their classrooms, and give them the opportunities to learn from different perspectives and life experiences.
Every year, incoming exchange students are also matched with a local mentor with an aim to help them adapt to their new environment and provide them with a local perspective on various issues.
