FK

FK is a leading Australian architectural, interior and urban design practice defined by design excellence. With a 170+ strong team across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, we deliver a design‑led, integrated approach to projects of scale, complexity and significance, guided by experienced leadership and a highly collaborative studio culture.

Renowned for producing buildings that are cutting‑edge in design, sculptural in form and underpinned by rigorous functional planning, our work has established a strong national and international profile. Established in 1988 and with nearly four decades of experience, the practice has been recognised with more than 100 industry and design awards.

We believe the built environment shapes more than the physical landscape; it influences society, culture and opportunity. Our work is grounded in a deep understanding of place, pairing contextual sensitivity with strategic planning to deliver environments that are innovative, engaging and enduring.

Internationally awarded, our expertise extends globally, including landmark projects such as Merdeka 118 (Malaysia). Our portfolio also includes precinct‑defining mixed‑use developments such as Midtown Centre (Brisbane) and Seafarers (Melbourne), alongside commercial and residential icons including 32 Smith Street (Sydney) and Australia 108 (Melbourne). This cross‑sector experience enables us to deliver projects that are commercially robust, socially meaningful and operationally successful.

From complex urban interfaces and high‑performance workplaces to residential amenity, wellness‑led environments and heritage adaptation, we create places with purpose—places that elevate everyday experience and help define the destinations they belong to.
