Overview
Aethra started by running hackathons, ideathons, gamethons, and other open, varied events. We did not fully know what we were building at the start. We figured it out along the way.
Over the past few years we organised seven programmes. The first six followed that open pattern: Ideathon, Hackathon, Pitchathon, Vibeathon, Gamethon, and Brandathon.
In 2026 we came back with a clearer direction and launched Moonshot, our first interdisciplinary event and our biggest yet, with 636 participants. Across everything so far: 2,340+ participants, 699 projects shipped, 84 countries, and $45K+ in prizes, with a 42-member team. That is the path we are continuing on.
