Overview
Yusuf Onder Design & Architecture is an award-winning practice with two branches. Yusuf Onder Architecture, with offices in Ulm and Istanbul, is led by founder and design partner Yusuf Onder together with business partner Mikail Koc. Yusuf Onder Design Studio, based in New York, is led by Yusuf Onder.
Yusuf Onder was born and raised in Germany to a Turkish family. After earning his bachelor's degree in Germany, he completed his master's degree in Architecture at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
He began his career at Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier & Partners Architects in Los Angeles, where he spent many years contributing to international projects such as the Ward Village Gateway in Honolulu, the UCLA Edie & Lew Wasserman Building, and 9200 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
He then joined Hill West Architects in New York, where he worked on projects including North Park Tower in New York and Court Square City View Tower in Long Island City.
Today, both branches bring this international experience to every project, from the first sketch through to construction.
