Yummy Istanbul is an Istanbul-based food tour company helping travellers discover the city through its food.

Since 2013, our expert local guides have led small groups through Istanbul's markets, backstreets and neighbourhood restaurants, introducing more than 75,000 guests to Turkish food, local businesses and everyday Istanbul food culture.

Our tours combine great food with the stories, neighbourhoods and people behind it. Rather than simply moving between tastings, our guides help guests understand how Istanbul eats — and why.

Our flagship Taste of Two Continents tour begins on the European side of Istanbul, then crosses the Bosphorus by ferry to explore the food markets and neighbourhoods of Kadıköy and Moda. Guests enjoy more than 20 tastings across the experience.

Groups are capped at 10 guests, allowing our guides to create a more personal experience and introduce guests to the kinds of places we genuinely enjoy eating ourselves.
