Young African Leaders for Global Impact

Young African Leaders for Global Impact (YALGI) is a distinguished platform empowering young African leaders to drive transformative change and global impact. We convene collaborative spaces for collective action, fostering strategic partnerships and high-impact programs addressing critical African challenges.

With over 70% of Africa's population under 30, the continent is poised for transformative change, but its vibrant youth demographic remains underutilized for sustainable development. Young African Leaders for Global Impact (YALGI) bridges this gap by empowering young Africans to drive global impact, addressing challenges like high unemployment (up to 60% in some countries), limited education and skills training, under-representation in government (where less than 2% of parliamentarian under 30), and limited innovation opportunities. By 2050, Africa's youth population will reach 830 million, accounting for 40% of the global youth population, making it imperative to harness their potential. YALGI empowers young Africans to take leadership roles, fosters inclusive spaces for collective action, provides training and resources for sustainable development, and amplifies their voices in global discourse, driving sustainable development, prosperity, and global influence.

Let us work together to empower Africa's youth through strategic innovations. Join YALGI in igniting a movement for youth empowerment, and together, we can unlock Africa's potential and achieve sustainable development.

Our slogan:

Great Africans, we have a future

Great Africans, we are the future

Great Africans, the future is NOW!
