York and North Yorkshire Connections

I've always believed strong communities don't happen by accident. They happen when people know what's going on and feel welcome to take part.

I'm Kathryn, based in York. I created this page because business feels so much easier when you know where to go, who's out there, and how to start building local connections. If you'd like to know a bit more about me, take a look at my featured post.

This page has one job: helping local businesses get more connected across York and North Yorkshire. Every week I round up the networking groups, events and spaces worth knowing about, so it's easier to find what's happening and get yourself into the right rooms.

Each week you'll find:

- a roundup of what's on, so you never miss the right event

- reposts and reminders for local business events

- coworking spaces worth trying, with honest reviews

- a free Business of the Week spotlight on someone local
