Overview
YEREL, is an electric vehicle project, which is being developed by academicians and students of Istanbul University, TURKEY.
Our purpose in the project is to develop electric vehicle sub-systems, as following latest developments in the electric vehicle field, in the direction of Industry-University Collaboration. Besides that, developing business models for extending the usage of electric vehicles in our country, advertising for raising the awareness in our society, will be our sub goals.
Project YEREL defines a field that includes whole studies about electric vehicle which is being done by students and academicians of Istanbul University in long-term. In this sense, YEREL is an R&D platform more than a produced electric vehicle.
