Ankara’da inşaat ve gayrimenkul sektöründe çok önemli bir yere sahip olan Yavuz Yapı A.Ş.’nin başarı öyküsünün temelleri, şirketin kurucusu ve aynı zamanda yönetim kurulu başkanı olan Yavuz Cengiz tarafından, 1980'li yılların başında atılmıştır. Yavuz Cengiz, İstanbul Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi, Mimarlık Bölümü’nden mezun olduktan sonra, on yıla yakın bir süre Ankara İmar Müdürlüğü’nde Mimar ve Planlama Müdürü olarak çalışmıştır. Yavuz Cengiz, 45 yıllık mimarlık ve inşaat deneyimiyle, Ankara’nın en büyük ve en güvenilir inşaat firmaları arasına Yavuz Yapı A.Ş.’nin adını yazdırmayı başarmıştır.
