Yangon American International School

We educate the future!

Welcome to Yangon American International School where the children are at the heart of all we do. Bringing world-class teaching strategies that focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, we are enrolling children from 2 to 11 years old. Those students will advance as we extend to Grade 12 and watch them graduate to top universities worldwide. Yangon American exists to “educate the future.”

With certified teachers, and by nurturing individual talents and personalities, we will ensure every child grows and succeeds. Through our American education curriculum, we have established high standards of achievement and performance.

Yangon American International School is the only accredited school in Myanmar to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program.

Centrally located on Yangon-Insein Road in Hlaing Township, Yangon American is an easy commute from most residential areas. Classrooms are spacious and provide facilities for our teachers and students to connect and grow together. Limited class sizes ensure students receive the support they need through low student to teacher ratios, as well as provide the space to ensure high hygiene standards.

We look forward to welcoming you to Yangon American and showcasing our passion for academic excellence and outstanding facilities.
