Working Lands for Wildlife
Farming, Ranching, Forestry
Overview
The Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW) partnership supports the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service’s premier approach for conserving America’s working lands to benefit people, wildlife, and rural communities.
The Working Lands for Wildlife model started in 2010 with a funny, ground-dwelling bird that lives in the West's sprawling sagebrush country.
Today, the successful conservation approach is putting Farm Bill resources to work for wildlife by implementing science-backed conservation that improves agricultural and forest productivity AND enhance wildlife habitat.
