Wellington Airport

Wellington Airport is a dynamic, vibrant and diverse place to work.

We are the gateway to our region for millions of travellers every year, connecting people and goods across the country and the world. We’re proud to make a major contribution to Wellington's economy, society and wellbeing.

In a typical year, Wellington depends on its airport for 11,000 jobs, $2.2b in economic output, and 6 million passenger journeys.

Guided by our Kaitiakitanga vision, we aim to manage our operations efficiently, to care for our environment and our people, to support the local economy and to give back to the community.

We support and sponsor many community organisations and events including:

• Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards

• Life Flight Trust

• New Zealand Festival of the Arts

• World of Wearable Arts

• New Zealand Fringe Festival

• CubaDupa

• Wellington On a Plate

• Beervana

• Surf Life Saving

• Wellington Regional Surf Championships

• Wild at Heart Spirit Awards

We live by our values of Whānau Kotahi, Be Exceptional, Diversity & Inclusion, Customer Obsessed and Courage and Freedom, and we have been recognised as an Employer of Choice in 2022 by Human Resources Director NZ.

Some of the great things about working here include:

• Free parking

• Discounts on food, drink and retail

• A gym and F45 classes

• A fun culture with regular staff events, including lunches and activities.

We are proud to be a passionate, flexible and inclusive organisation. Come and join our team!
