Since it was founded in 1909, the company has become a technology leader for state-of-the-art grinding, erosion and laser machines for rotary tools and circular saws in the wood- and metalworking industries and for metal-cutting band saws.

As a fullliner, the globally active VOLLMER Group, which also includes Loroch GmbH and ultraTEC innovation GmbH, offers a wide range of production technologies. The comprehensive range of machines is complemented by tailor-made services and service offerings. VOLLMER is a reliable solution provider for tool manufacturers, sharpening services, manufacturing companies and sawmills.

With its own locations in Germany, Austria, Great Britain, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the USA, Brazil, Japan, China, South Korea and India as well as over 30 agencies worldwide, VOLLMER is close to its customers. The company relies on the advantages of a family-run company: short distances, quick decisions and rapid action.

Today, the VOLLMER Group employs around 800 people, 550 of whom work at the headquarters in Biberach, including over 50 trainees. Around eight to ten percent of turnover is invested in the research and development of new technologies and products.
