Vink Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned, medium-sized company based in Kakenstorf, Lower Saxony (approx. 40 km south of Hamburg). Our 130+ employees are specialists in technical preservation and chemical additives and are responsible for production facilities, sales, raw material purchasing as well as product development and quality control in our own laboratories worldwide.

We develop products and services for industrial applications that are used worldwide. Their use prevents the microbiological degradation of many well-known everyday products. This saves resources and extends shelf life. Our product lines are Technical Biocides, Oilfield & Fuel Treatment, Specialty Chemicals, System Cleaning as well as a product range of Consumer Chemicals.

The history of Vink Chemicals began back in 1980, when the trading company Vink + Co. started trading chemicals, sourcing and distributing active ingredients and formulations. In 2008, the experienced team of experts formulated the first quantities of chemical additives, first in toll manufacturing, then in in-house production, in order to directly serve special customer requirements. The first proprietary product formulations were also developed to target open market niches. In 2011, the VINK CHEMICALS GmbH & Co. KG was founded, which launched operations at its production facility in Kakenstorf the following year. A wide variety of batch sizes can be produced and filled there according to customer specifications. In 2019, production capacities were nearly doubled through the acquisition of another production site in Memmingen (Bavaria) in southern Germany.
