Velox Racing

We are Velox Racing, a STEM Racing team from Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, competing in the national STEM Racing Challenge (formerly F1 in Schools). Our team brings together a group of passionate, innovative students driven by engineering excellence, collaboration, and a shared commitment to pushing the limits of design and performance.

At Velox Racing, we live by our tagline - “More than fast.”

This reflects our belief that success isn’t only about speed, but about innovation, precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Every design, every test, and every race is an opportunity to go beyond limits - both on and off the track.

We apply principles of engineering, physics, marketing, and project management to design, manufacture, and race a miniature Formula 1-inspired car. Beyond racing, our mission is to inspire the next generation of STEM innovators while promoting sustainability, creativity, and inclusion in engineering.

Through this journey, we aim to develop our technical and professional skills while connecting with industry professionals and companies who share our vision for the future of STEM.

Vishakh Saini – Project Manager
