URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) Araştırma Laboratuvarı; ODTÜ Enformatik Enstitüsü bünyesinde 2009’da kurulmuştur. Kâr amacı gütmeyen bir kurum olan URAP, her yıl Türkiye ve dünya üniversite sıralamalarını toplumsal bir hizmet olarak yapmaktadır. URAP ekibinin tüm üyeleri, ODTÜ’deki diğer görevlerinin yanında sıralama çalışmalarını gönüllü olarak sürdürmektedir. URAP’ın üniversitelerimiz için geliştirdiği sıralama sisteminin temel hedefi, üniversitelerimizin akademik performanslarını diğer üniversitelerle karşılaştırabilmelerine yardımcı olmaktır.
