United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County

We believe every man, woman, and child deserves an opportunity for a good life. This means our children have a safe and healthy start in life; our students stay in school and graduate; we do all we can to strengthen individual and family well-being; and we provide a safety net of emergency assistance for our neighbors in need.

Many large, complex issues stand in the way of a good life for many members of our community. No single agency or organization, public or private, can tackle these issues alone. United is the way we create positive change.

At United Way, we work every day to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another. We are a “uniter,” bringing people together to improve people’s lives in our community so they are able to live stable, independent lives and flourish.
