UniServices

UniServices is the University of Auckland’s technology transfer office and research growth team. We sit at the intersection of research, innovation, and industry, with a mission to grow and commercialise the University’s vast footprint of research expertise.

We create and grow spinout companies, manage the University of Auckland Inventors’ Fund (a $40 million pre-seed investment fund), and connect government, industry, and startups with University expertise. From early discovery through to implementation at scale, we build tailored pathways that transform research into real-world impact, smarter innovations, and long-term value.

Our team brings deep experience across academia and business. We know the innovation ecosystem, and we know how to connect the right people and expertise to each opportunity. We work to develop bespoke solutions and build trusted partnerships that help University research make a global impact.
