Our company Unimed is founded in year 2000 over our manager’s 20 years experience in ophthalmic market. Unimed is our own company set in 2000. Currently we are the exclusive distributor in Turkey of Konan USA company for their clinical and donor specular microscopes and ERG/VEP instruments. Konan is recognized as the oldest and most respected company for specular microscopy with several patents hold. In addition to Konan, we are also the exclusive distributor of Biolase Inc. in Turkey who is the leading manufacturer of dental hard and soft tissue lasers. Biolase is also the technology and market leader in dental lasers market in USA and in the World with again several patents in dental lasers technologies. We have been working with both companies since 2000.

Our marketing activities are based on training courses and seminars done all over Turkey for the targeted customers. In this manner we have organized several dental laser congresses, symposiums and certification courses in Turkey. We have also arranged seminars and certification courses for donor and clinical specular microscopy for the eye bank technicians and the eye doctors.

Our main office is in Istanbul and we have 8-10 people in our Istanbul office. We cooperate with several sub distributors in different regions of Turkey for the marketing and sales of the products in those regions. We also have direct customer visits with or without our sub distributors.

We supply the aftersales technical services within or after the warranty period from our Istanbul office.
