UNDP Sierra Leone

Since 1965, UNDP has been working in partnership with the Government and people of Sierra Leone (SL). Guided by the National Agenda for Prosperity (2013-2018), UNDP Sierra Leone supports Government in two particular areas: inclusive growth and sustainability; and effective and inclusive democratic governance.

UNDP SL works with the people of Sierra Leone to reduce poverty and marginalization - with particular regard to the most vulnerable and excluded - in economically, socially and environmentally sustainable ways.

UNDP supports the people of Sierra Leone in creating an enabling environment for stability, the rule of law, and good governance. This includes strengthened service delivery, legal and judicial systems, and democratic institutions and processes.
