Overview
UMAKİT Uludağ Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi öğrencileri tarafından 2004 yılında kurulmuştur. Bir bölüm topluluğu olmaktan daha çok bütün mühendislik bölümlerini kapsamayı hedefleyerek, buna yönelik projeler ile ilgilenerek çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
Umakit, günümüzün parlayan yıldızı olan alternatif enerji ve alternatif enerjili araçlar üzerinde yoğunlaşarak üniversite ve Türkiye çapında deneyim sahibi olmuştur. Bilimsel çalışmaları artırmayı hedefleyerek, mühendislik alanlarında ülkesine katkı sağlayan bilimden yana bir topluluk olma amacındadır. Mühendislik faaliyetlerine ek olarak her yıl üniversitemiz öğrencilerinin gelişmesine ve sosyalleşmesine katkı sağlayan sempozyumlar, seminerler, teknik geziler ve çeşitli organizasyonlar düzenlemektedir.
