Ulus Müzik

Ulus Müzik was established in 1986 by İskender Ulus under the name Ulus Plak in Unkapanı Plakçılar Çarşısı. In 1991, the company acquired the renowned artist Belkıs Akkale's company, Midas Müzik, and adopted the name Ulus Müzik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

In the past, Ulus Müzik encompassed various sectoral services, including Ulus Müzik Yapım, Ulus Film Prodüksiyon, MDM Ses Kayıt Stüdyoları, Marka Dağıtım, Ulus Edisyon, Funda Dündar Organizasyon, and the International Classical Turkish Music Camp. Additionally, the company operated as the "Sole Authorized Distributor" for TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) both domestically and internationally for a period.

Today, we aim to introduce new artists to the global music scene through our collaborative efforts with 'U Records,' a music company co-founded by Ulus Müzik in Los Angeles, USA.

Our Mission: To promote the richness, vibrancy, and diversity of Turkish culture to the world and to ensure that this cultural heritage benefits people globally.

Ulus Müzik, committed to preserving cultural values, has undertaken significant projects with this vision. These projects include the "Türkülerle Türkiye" collection, the "İz" series featuring 50 instrumental Turkish folk music albums, and the "Yunus’ca" album, which initiated the Sufi Music projects. A notable ongoing project is the "Türk İslam Musikisi Külliyatı," which will consist of 116 albums, of which five have been completed so far.

These works are archival in nature and are regarded as a cultural service by the Ministry of Culture.
