Overview
Öğrenci Konseyi, öğrencilerle okul yönetimi arasındaki bağı kurarak, öğrencilerin demokratik şekilde okul yönetimine katılmasını sağlar. Bu katılım öğrenci konseyindeki üyelerin; komitelerde, fakülte ve bölüm toplantılarında, öğrenci konseyi yönetim kurulundaki öğrencilerin de üniversite yönetim kurulu ve senato toplantılarında görüş ve önerilerini üniversite yönetimiyle paylaşması ile sağlanır.
Bölümlerin ve fakültelerin öğrencileri tarafından seçilen bölüm ve fakülte temsilcileri, bölüm ve fakülte toplantılarına katılma hakkına sahiptir.
Elbette öğrenci konseyi görevini yalnızca toplantılara katılarak yürütmez, öğrenci konseyi belli başlı konularla ilgili çalışma grupları oluşturarak konu ile ilgili çalışmalarını çalışma grubu sorumlusu önderliğinde sürdürür. Şu an öğrenci konseyi bünyesinde Kariyer ve Staj ,Uluslararası Öğrenciler,Sağlık ve Çevre,Eğitim,Yurt,Burs ve Ulaşım olmak üzere 5 çalışma grubu bulunmaktadır ve ihtiyaç duyulduğunda yeni çalışma grupları oluşturulmaya devam edilecektir. Çalışma gruplarının görevi, ilgili oldukları konu ile alakalı sorunları takip etmek ve çözüm üretmektir.
