UBM was established in 1950 in Ankara to engage in consultancy of engineering services and registered as a Limited Company in 1971. The company was incorporated as a Stock Corporation in 1988.

Company’s Head Office is located in Ankara, there are also 47 site offices in different regions of Turkey. UBM also has 3 site offices in Georgia, with its Head Office in Tbilisi. UBM has also obtained overseas experience by successfully completing projects in Tajikistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

UBM has been assigned by major state organizations, public and private companies to undertake challenging engineering and consultancy projects and has successfully completed all its assignments.

UBM cooperates with international consultant companies from various countries such as USA, Germany, UK, Denmark, Holland, Spain, Norway, Austria, Hungary and Japan, for the projects funded by major international financial institutions like World Bank, Europe Aid (European Union), European Investment Bank (EIB), Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), Islamic Development Bank (IDB), and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
