Overview
Turnusol, üniversite tiyatrosunda birlikte çalışmış birkaç arkadaşın girişimi ile kurulmuş olan bağımsız bir tiyatro topluluğudur. Turnusol'ün amacı ticari kâr sağlamak değil; sanatsal gelişim ve üretimi, gönüllülük ilkesi içerisinde, sürekli daha ilerilere taşımaktır.
Turnusol, üretim ve araştırma süreçlerinde mutlak bir sanatsal biçemle kendini sınırlamayı düşünmez; izleyeni edilgin kılan ya da hazır yargılar içeren üslupları tercih etmez. İzleyenin imgelemini harekete geçiren, eleştirel ve rasyonel bakış açısını aktif kılan, kısacası onu sanatsal üretimin bir paydaşı olarak gören yaklaşımları yeğler. Turnusol bu yaklaşımdan hareketle görünmez olanın -sanat yoluyla- görünebilirliğini mümkün kılmanın yollarını arar.
