TSS Tunnelling

As two cofounders of TSS Engineering Ltd; we have been carrying out our expertise on TBM Tunnelling, which we started in 2007 with the Marmaray BC-1 Project, by taking charge of responsibilities in various positions for many projects in the sector.

The following are examples of projects in which we have undertaken either the full workload or been involved as a Specialists Team;

- Marmaray BC-1 Bosphorus Cross Metro Project

- Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport Metro Project

- Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Project

- Karakuz HPP Project

- Baltalimanı-Ayazağa/Kağıthane Wastewater Tunnels

- Ataköy-İkitelli Metro Project

In the aforementioned projects, TBM measurement system installations, follow-up of navigation systems and solution of technical failures have brought along a total of approximately 150 kilometers of TBM tunnel experience.

We have taken responsibility in various projects simultaneously with TBM Measurement systems. The topics we were into in these projects briefly:

- 3D Deformation assembly and measurement techniques

- Deformation-induced volume loss calculation and spreadsheets

- NATM Tunnel construction and deformation stages

- Establishing Walkways and Squeezeways

- Electromechanical Works

- Rail construction stages

In our 13-year tunnelling adventure, we have worked as specialists team in the installation and operation of many TBM navigation programs (VMT, TACS, ENZAN, DDJ, PPS etc.)

Our service manner is to continue our journey by keeping our enthusiasm as evident as it was on the first day we started in 2007, and to add the spirit of our team to the valuable projects of our country, by being aware of the importance of technology in our industry with the motto of “new information every day”.
