Totalkare

Totalkare is the UK's leading supplier of heavy-duty workshop equipment, providing vehicle lifts, brake testers and specialist workshop solutions to commercial vehicle operators, fleet owners, dealerships and repairers throughout the UK.

In August 2026, Totalkare became part of the Levanta Group, joining a global workshop solutions organisation spanning the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Alongside Levanta, Tecnik Engineering and Bradmac, Totalkare forms part of a growing international business with a shared vision to become the world's leading commercial workshop equipment and fitout provider.

Our heritage dates back to 1953 with the incorporation of Walter Somers Material Handling. Through decades of growth and evolution as Somers Handling and later as part of the Triapt Holdings Group, the foundations were laid for the business we are today. The modern Totalkare business was formed in 2004 following the unification of Somers Vehicle Lifts and its aftersales division, Totalkare.

Today, Totalkare offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of workshop equipment in the market, including heavy-duty vehicle lifts, mobile column lifts, brake testers, vehicle pits, wheel alignment systems, headlamp testers, smoke meters and the innovative Y-MECH lift. We also introduced the UK's first dedicated wash-bay mobile column lift, featuring sealed bearings and a fully galvanised finish for long-term protection against water ingress.

Our commitment to innovation has also seen us expand into the UK rail sector through our partnership with Emanuel, supplying specialist railway lifting systems to depots and manufacturing facilities nationwide.

Backed by the strength of the Levanta Group and over 70 years of industry heritage, Totalkare continues to deliver market-leading workshop solutions, technical expertise and aftersales support to customers across the transport, commercial vehicle and rail industries.

Keeping workshops moving. Lifting performance globally.
