Overview

Kütüphanemiz, 12 bin dolayında kitap içeren kuruluş koleksiyonu ile 2004-05 eğitim öğretim yılında hizmete açılmıştır. Ana binanın arka cephesinde iki kat üzerine 2000 metrekarelik bir alanda hizmet vermektedir. Ayrıca kütüphanenin önündeki fuayeler 24 saat açık okuma alanı olarak kullanılmaktadır. 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılı sonu itibariyle yaklaşık 69 bin cilt kitap ve 7 bin 88 ciltli dergiden oluşan basılı koleksiyon toplamda 76 bini aşmıştır. Koleksiyon, NLM kullanılan Tıp alanı dışında Kongre Kütüphanesi sistemine göre düzenlenmiş bulunmaktadır. Güncel veya arşiv mahiyetindeki koleksiyonlar üzerinden 42 bin kadar elektronik dergiye erişim sağlanmakta, elektronik olarak sağlanamayan 123 dergi için basılı abonelik sürdürülmektedir. Erişime sunulan 99 veri tabanı, söz konusu dergilerin dışında, 369 bin dolayında elektronik kitap, bildiri, tez, rapor gibi çeşitli bilgi kaynakları ve finansal veriler içermektedir. 20 dolayında günlük gazete, CD ve DVD ortamında sunulan müzik eserleri ve filmler kütüphane koleksiyonunun diğer ögeleridir.
