Tiefenbrunner Winery – Schlosskellerei Turmhof is a family-owned winery based in South Tyrol (Alto Adige), Italy, with roots dating back over 300 years. The historic Castel Turmhof has been the heart of the estate since 1675, combining heritage, craftsmanship and a clear vision for the future.

Philosophy. Respect for origin shapes the way we work. We believe that great wines are defined by terroir, climate and the people who work with patience and precision. South Tyrol’s alpine landscape, its diverse soils and cool-climate conditions define the character, elegance and freshness of our wines.

Wines. Across our four quality lines – Merus, Turmhof, Linticlarus and Vigna – we produce white and red wines sourced from selected vineyards, cultivated directly or in long-term partnership with trusted growers. These wines express clarity, balance and aging potential. From approachable classics to single-vineyard wines, each bottle reflects a commitment to quality and authenticity.

Sustainability. Responsible practices are an integral part of our daily work, from vineyard management to cellar operations. A key element of our approach is energy responsibility: around 95% of our energy demand is covered by our own renewable sources, combining hydropower and solar energy. Traditional know-how and modern techniques go hand in hand.

Hospitality. Beyond wine production, Tiefenbrunner Winery is a place of hospitality and exchange. At Castel Turmhof, guests can experience our wines through guided cellar tours and tastings, as well as in our wine shop and wine bistro, where light regional dishes, curated cheese and charcuterie boards and small bites are served to complement our wines.
