THY OPET Aviation Fuels

Türk Hava Yolları A.O. and OPET Petrolcülük A.Ş. have each 50% interest in the company THY OPET Havacılık Yakıtları A.Ş. established on September 18, 2009 with a 75-million-dollar investment budget to operate in the field of fuel storage and refueling of aircrafts.

Combining the aviation expertise of Turkish Airlines that proceeds on its path to become one of the leading airlines of Europe with OPET’s long-established presence in the fuel sector, THY OPET aims to become a landmark company in each category in which it operates at home and abroad with a focus on “Unconditional Customer Satisfaction and High Quality” with its experienced and qualified workforce.

Having commenced jet fuel supply and into plane operations on July 1, 2010 with its strong technical infrastructure and the specially equipped state-of-the-art refuellers and dispensers, THY OPET was capable of providing supply and into plane services in all airports Turkey-wide as of the end of 2010.

THY OPET is a company that aims to meet the fuel requirements of national and global airlines, including THY. THY OPET operates at all airports in Turkey today.

With the completion of ongoing storage facility investments, THY OPET has reached a leading position in jet fuel storage and into plane service capacities.
