The Hearth Network

The Hearth Network CIC is a community-focused, non-profit organisation committed to enhancing warmth, connection, and sustainability in homes and local communities. Founded in November 2024 by mother-daughter team Rebecca Armstrong and Nadia Speers Robinson, our mission is to empower people through education, creativity, and environmental stewardship.

We deliver hands-on initiatives that foster community resilience and climate action. Recent projects include Southport’s inaugural Earth Day celebration, a sustainable sewing project promoting textile reuse, and The Big Green Lunch—an event celebrating food, community, and environmental awareness. We also launched CASA (Climate And Sustainability Action), a business network group supporting local sustainable enterprises.

Our board includes sustainability leaders such as Allison Sathiyanathan (NHS Net Zero Project Manager) and Becky Potter (founder of 'A Gang of Elk' forest school), who bring expertise in health, nature-based education, and climate strategy.

As a CIC, we exist to benefit the public. We believe in creating spaces where people can learn, share, and grow—building a greener, more connected future. Our work is rooted in collaboration, inclusion, and a deep commitment to leaving a better world for future generations.
