The Generosity Trust

We empower Christian generosity.

We offer donors comprehensive, effective ways to streamline their giving through donor-advised funds. Stock gifts, cash, or complex gifts? We are a one-stop shop to help donors support nonprofits or churches they care about. All giving can be done through one central platform, with one tax receipt at year-end!

We encourage generosity through our collaborative giving circles. These groups of individuals contribute to a shared fund and collectively determine how they will give away the funds. It's more than a granting group - members have opportunities for discipleship in generosity and access to learn about local nonprofits. It's transformational generosity, in community.

We also offer the Dora Maclellan Brown Scholarship, named for our founder. This competitive scholarship has enabled many local ministry leaders to pursue seminary education and impact their communities.

Finally, we are a community partner, a convener, a collaborator. We make it our business to know what is going on around Chattanooga and to connect when possible. We seek the flourishing of our city and support nonprofits and donors together in this journey!
