Tawfiiq Somali Social Development Association was founded by Somali youth studying in Turkey.Having seen the vast differences between Somalia and other developed countries in terms of life, education, health, and socio-economic sectors, the need to establish a strong civil association that will contribute in the development of these sectors in Somalia was deemed as crucial and urgent.

The success of every nation depends on its youth and it is the same spirit that drives us as Tawfiiq association to be part of the young Somali men and women who are determined to propel our country to higher standards.

Tawfiiq (Tevfik) association’s main focus is to contribute in solving Somalia’s social problems, developing its leadership capacities and improving its social justice system.

Our Mission

To join hands with our fellow youth in enhancing peace and stability in Somalia, establishing a network of well-equipped young leaders who are committed to work hard for a better tomorrow, and providing the necessary services for the collective development of the society.

To learn about the cultures of other countries for the purpose of establishing cultural cooperation, and conducting research on social and political issues of mutual benefit;

To present the culture, traditions and customs of our country in a bid to enhance cultural cooperation between our country and other countries of common interest;

To conduct and publish studies related to education and training;

To determine the challenges facing the education sector in our country and propose solutions;

To help and encourage young authors to publish their authored and translated works and;

To play a role in the development of the society by supporting the individual development initiatives aimed at solving the social problems.
