Terkan, Türkiye’de ilk defa yeni bir teknoloji olarak Paket Tip Soğuk Depo Cihazları üretmek amacıyla 1983 yılında TIMSAN ünvanı ile kuruldu. 2002 yılında ortaklık yapısında meydana gelen değişiklik sonucu firma adı TERKAN olarak değişti.
Terkan Isı Sanayi, paket tip soğuk depo cihazı üretiminin yanı sıra soğutma sistemleri projelendirmesi, taze ve donmuş muhafaza, hızlı soğutma (ön soğutma ve şok soğutma), nem alma ve kurutma ve su soğutma uygulamaları yapmaktadır.
Çalışmalarına tüm değerleri ve uzman kadrosuyla devam eden Terkan, 2014 yılından bu yana yeni üretim yeri olan Manisa Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.
