Overview
Founded in 1999 by major private and public televisions broadcasters in Turkey, TVYD members represent 95% of total TV viewing in the country.
TVYD's major aim is to improve the quality and sustainability of the industry further through establishing a common platform for its members to exchange ideas and form the industry standards. The organization also cooperates with regulatory bodies, mainly RTUK(Turkish Radio Television Supreme Council) and with other stakeholders to inform the challenges and issues in relation to the industry.
TVYD encourages all FTA national, regional, satellite, cable broadcasters to be the member of the association.
