Tehrani International Trading takes manufacturers from Europe, Turkey and the Gulf into North America, Canada first and then the United States.

Most of the companies we speak with are well established at home and unknown here. Often the product is not the problem. What is missing is someone on the ground who knows which distributors matter, what certification the market will ask for, and what the landed price has to be to compete.

We work in one of two ways. As appointed agent, we open and manage the channel while the manufacturer ships and invoices direct, a lighter commitment while products are certified and the first buyers are won. As exclusive distributor, we hold the rights, and the stock once volumes justify it. Most relationships begin with a short Canadian market validation: conversations with distributors and buyers, customer feedback and a compliance roadmap, ending in a written go or no-go.

Our focus is industrial products (tires, heavy-vehicle aftermarket, equipment parts and hydraulics) and premium consumer goods from European houses.

The company began in 2014 in the Middle East and North Africa, where it signed exclusive distribution agreements for Matador (Continental), Sumitomo, Zeetex and Techking, and built distribution across industrial, mining, OEM and retail channels. In food and beverage, it has signed agreements covering the Middle East and North Africa and North America, including the Tonino Lamborghini beverage line, and in Canada it built Lusso Scelta, its own Italian coffee brand.

We take on a small number of brands at a time, and only those we believe can hold a place here for the long term.
