Tech is... Creating Conversations

Tech Is... is a space for big thinkers.

These meetups exist to give you space to think out loud, challenge others and hear perspectives you wouldn't normally encounter. Honest, informed conversation is at the heart of every event which makes it a typical meetup.

Most tech events follow the same format. Someone stands at the front. The audience listens. There are questions at the end, if time allows. That's not what happens here.

Every 'Tech is…' event is built around a single debate question - one that creates tension, invites disagreement, and doesn't have an obvious right answer. A speaker frames the theme through real experience. Then the room takes over.

Attendees split into small groups, share their own perspectives, and report back to the wider room. You're expected to take part - not as an expert, but as someone with a view worth hearing.

The format is structured enough to keep things focused, and open enough that the best conversations take you somewhere no one expected.
