TEAK Building Group is a Melbourne-based commercial & residential builder specialising in hospitality, retail, and fit-out projects.

Established in 2018, TEAK was founded by builders who built their experience delivering complex, design-led projects for leading construction firms, before coming together to create a business focused on accountability, control, and execution.

We deliver projects as head contractor and also operate as a delivery partner on high-profile, technically complex, or program-critical projects. Through Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), we work closely with clients, consultants, and builders to provide buildability advice, cost certainty, and practical solutions early, reducing risk and improving outcomes on site.

Our projects are director-led, with hands-on involvement from planning through to handover. We combine structured systems with clear communication and strong relationships to deliver spaces that meet design intent, budget, and programme, even when timelines are tight and expectations are high.

Sustainability is embedded in our approach. During value management, we offer considered alternatives that reduce construction and demolition waste without compromising performance or intent.
