The family-owned company generates a turnover of circa 30 million euro, with 160 employees in its integrated plant (weaving, dyeing and finishing) in Laval .

The acquisition of KLOPMAN International (Italy) in Dec. 2016 permitted the creation of a new industrial group of global standing, European leader with 650 employees and an annual turnover of nearly EUR 160 mio.

Innovation and a strong commitment to CSR and sustainable development are the company’s strategic pillars:

- Its multi-material fabrics provide solutions designed for every professional sector (including resistance to fire or electric arc, high visibility etc.). With 10 million metres of fabrics produced a year, of which 10% is made from bio-based, recycled or Fairtrade materials, more than 3 million people are protected at work every year by TDV Industries’ fabrics.

- As sustainability pioneer in the textile sector, TDV Industries publishes the environmental footprint of every fabric it produces as well as its social and societal impacts.

Over the last few years, TDV Industries’ axes of innovation have been:

- Product: Enlarging its range of technical fabrics (inherent flame retardant, wellbeing etc) with a particular focus on multi-protection; enlarging the scope and number of R&D projects relating to eco-circularity, energy self-sufficient and connected fabrics, and ‘cradle-to-cradle’ textiles.

- Organisation: Lean manufacturing and participative management methods have been implemented to improve people’s wellbeing at work, efficiency, and to further enhance customer services.
