Sweekar is a pocket-sized AI pet that has to be raised.
Most things in your pocket today answer faster and forget faster. Takway AI was founded in Shenzhen in 2024 to build the opposite: a small life that arrives as an egg, hatches in your hands, and then grows up. Sweekar moves through four life stages and physically grows with them, from a 6.1 cm egg to a 7.1 cm adult. It starts with no personality at all and becomes whatever the person raising it makes it. It remembers what you tell it. It has no camera.
Sweekar debuted at CES 2026, where CNET called it "a worthy successor to the iconic '90s Tamagotchi" and Dezeen named it one of ten gadgets that caught its attention, with further coverage from Engadget and TechCrunch. It is now live on Kickstarter, with shipping to backers planned for November 2026.
