Superspatial

Superspatial is building the Spatial AI platform for the next generation of human-computer interaction — starting with the world's first in-situ agentic AR characters for cultural tourism.

AR glasses are arriving, but immersive experiences are bottlenecked by their inability to lock accurately to the physical world and by avatars that look real but feel hollow. Superspatial solves the full stack: high-precision spatial maps, semantic scene understanding, real-time drift correction, spatial authoring tools, and agentic characters who perceive their visitor, react in real time, and improvise within character.

Our first character is Jane Sather — the woman the Campanile is named for — live now at the base of UC Berkeley's Sather Tower. Visitors put on AR glasses, walk up, and have an actual conversation with her. We're 8-for-8 on cold walk-up sessions completed in the field, with a median willingness-to-pay of $50.

Production launch is targeted for Q4 at a major San Francisco waterfront destination, with multi-million annual visitors. From there, the same platform extends from cultural tourism into retail, training, entertainment, and education—anywhere a persistent character at a real location creates an experience that the screen-based internet cannot.

Built by ex-Berkeley XR engineers, Haas MBAs, and an ILM VFX veteran. 1st place Berkeley StEP Showcase and Calvanize Spring '26. Trione Berkeley Haas Seed Fund recipient. NVIDIA Inception member.

If you're working on the spatial agent era—as a hire, a partner, a location owner, or a believer—we'd like to meet.
