In order to provide products and services in the prosperous field of renewable energy, which appears as an important parameter for the growth of Turkey, SUOZ Energy was established in 2017 by Mert Uçuran ÇİLLER (Chairman of the Board) and Berk Uçuran ÇİLLER (CEO) with 35 years’ experience of Marsan Marmara Holding.

SUOZ Energy, which makes a difference in the sector with its high-quality production, R&D studies, innovative products and after-sales services; has been acting with the vision of developing the solar energy sector through breaking grounds within its field of expertise, benefiting from the experiences of its local and international collaborations as well.

Especially by adding up SPP projects; ingot, wafer and cell production and new cooperations to its portfolio that was initially only consisting of solar PV module production, the Group has been diversifying its investments with value adding activities and aims an ambitious growth.

With its new machinery purchases, SUOZ Energy is planning to extend its current 370 MW solar PV module production capacity to 870 MW by the third quarter of 2018. In order to convert the infrastructure of its huge capacity of PV module production to a fully-integrated system and to increase its expertise in the sector, SUOZ Energy has invested and taken over Silcio and Piritium Factories in Greece which possess ingot, wafer and cell production technologies.

As part of these new investments, the Group has begun its operations for carrying the cell production line of the factory from Greece to Turkey. When the operation ends, SUOZ Energy will be the first solar cell producer within the customs area of Turkey.

As a promoter of personal use and small-scale subsidiaries, SUOZ Energy has been expanding its investments and service areas in accordance with the sectoral trends. Within this scope, the Group has developed the “Roof Battery Project” which includes solar package supply including all essential components for a roof-top PV system and construction, technical support, finance and after-sales services; aiming to contribute on the added-value of Turkey in the field.
