Sun Trading LLC

We are a team of the industry’s brightest trading and technology professionals, collaborating to create winning trading strategies. Since opening Sun Trading’s doors in 2003, we go to work each day with the same priority: to continue to build an enduringly great proprietary trading firm.

In a highly competitive industry that demands constant improvement, we are more than up to the task. We continuously invest in our innovative technology and advanced research capabilities to ensure we’re utilizing the most effective resources available for our trading.

We’re also eager to add expertise where we recognize unique market opportunity. Recently, we completed two separate acquisitions, growing our competencies and global reach. This selective and targeted expansion of our firm is part of our ongoing strategy.

Our market making and trading business is diversified across geographies, strategies and asset classes. With more than 100 employees in our offices in Chicago, New York and London, we are active in equities, equity options, foreign exchange, fixed income and futures markets around the world.

We believe that being an industry leader brings responsibility to act like one:

-Sun Trading is led by a professional management team with extensive trading, markets and operational experience.

-Our sophisticated risk management system is designed to ensure that we control all elements of our business, and we operate within predetermined risk parameters.

-And we are proud to promote greater efficiency and deeper liquidity throughout the global marketplace.
