Sun Preschools

Since 1995, Özel Sun Preschool has provided early childhood education in Bahçeşehir for children aged 2–6, offering a safe, warm and enriching learning environment. Located next to Bahçeşehir Gölet and close to Ispartakule and Bizim Evler, we place children’s curiosity, confidence and individual potential at the heart of everything we do.

We have developed our own eclectic educational model by combining the Turkish Ministry of National Education’s Türkiye Century Education Model with approaches such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, High/Scope, Forest School, GEMS and STEM/STEAM. Robotics and coding, attention-building activities, experiments, woodworking and hands-on projects encourage children to learn through discovery and experience.

Bilingual education is a natural part of daily life. In our 2–3 age groups, an English teacher spends most of the day in class alongside the classroom teacher; for ages 4–5, structured English lessons are added. Classroom and assistant teachers, specialist teachers and our psychological counselor support each child’s development holistically.

Our 170 m² grass garden, playground, 105 m² activity area, 40 m² outdoor classroom, 25 m² ecological garden, chicken coop, sports room and nap room extend learning beyond the classroom. We also offer gymnastics, music, ballet, dance, yoga and chess with experienced specialist instructors, including a collaboration with the Istanbul Chess Association, founded in 1943.

Three meals are prepared fresh each day in our school kitchen. We do not use processed or packaged foods, margarine or ready-made fruit juices. Regular workshops and family-participation events make education a journey we share with parents.

Our aim is to raise curious, creative, responsible and empathetic children with strong social skills and the confidence to embrace life.
