Startupji

Startupji is a dedicated media platform for entrepreneurship and innovation, designed to be the go-to source for news, inspiration, and practical guidance for anyone interested in the future of startups in Syria. Our name draws from Syrian tradition—“ji” signifies a craftsperson or expert—making Startupji the craftsperson of the Syrian startup scene.

We believe entrepreneurship is a cornerstone for rebuilding and advancing Syria. That’s why we focus on supporting and empowering young Syrian entrepreneurs through accessible, easy-to-digest content in Arabic. Our articles, analyses, and success stories cover topics like technology, innovation, education, digital transformation, leadership, youth and women empowerment, community development, and sustainability.

Startupji is more than just a platform—it’s a movement to unite the Syrian entrepreneurial community, both inside Syria and across the diaspora. We create a space for knowledge sharing, dialogue, and collaboration, highlighting local success stories and real-world experiences that inspire positive change. Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment where founders, experts, and enthusiasts can connect, learn, and grow together.

Our vision is to become the leading reference for anyone seeking to build a better future through entrepreneurship in Syria, and to play a key role in shaping a more innovative and resilient startup ecosystem.
