Spikedge

Spikedge is an embedded software engineering company working on systems that operate under real-time constraints. Its work spans industrial automation, medical devices, aerospace and defence, and agricultural machinery.

The company develops hard real-time and RTOS layers, industrial protocol stacks including EtherCAT master and slave implementations, embedded Linux systems built on Yocto with board support packages, secure boot and OTA update chains, sensor fusion, and edge AI vision pipelines. This work runs on NVIDIA Jetson, NXP i.MX, Texas Instruments, STM32 and Hailo silicon, and extends to the operator layer with Qt and QML interfaces, low-latency video transport and test instrumentation.

Spikedge also generates synthetic training data. For computer vision problems where field imagery cannot be collected safely, or at all, the company produces physically-correct, automatically labelled datasets, removing the manual annotation stage entirely.

Its founding engineers have more than a decade of experience in embedded development. Spikedge works with manufacturers and OEMs as an engineering partner, from architecture review through implementation and long-term maintenance.
