Türkiyenin en eski mümessillik firmalarından olan Somteks Pazarlama Ticaret A.Ş. 1979 yılında Orhan Torfilli tarafından kurulmuştur. Halihazırda Somteks Pazarlama Ticaret A.Ş. Ahmet Torfilli tarafından yönetilmektedir. Ahmet Torfilli 2008 yılında Somplast Plastik Dış Tic. Ve San Ltd. Şti grup firmasını kurarak tecrübesini plastik ve gıda sektörlerinde de kullanmıştır ve bu alanda dünyaca tanınmış makine üreticilerinin mümessilliğini yapmaktadır.

Plastik sektöründe; Metal Ayrıştırıcı Sistemler, X-Ray Dedektörleri, Mıknatıs Sistemleri, Plastik Geri Dönüşüm Sistemleri, Robot ve Otomasyon Sistemleri, Şişirme Film Makineleri, Kauçuk Enjeksiyon Makineleri, Plastik Enjeksiyon Makineleri ve Pet-Folyo Ambalaj Makineleri bunun yanında Gıda sektöründe de Gıda Ayrıştırma Sistemleri ve yine Metal Ayrıştırıcılar, Mıknatıslar ve X-Ray Dedektörleri ile faaliyet göstermektedir.
